We’re two sisters raised in the world of leather. With a
father deeply rooted in the leather business for over 35 years, our childhood
was steeped in the scent of leather and the art of craftsmanship. What we grew
up with wasn’t just material—it was a blend of meaning, tradition, and a legacy
that surrounded us daily.
Selden, based in Antwerp—the fashion capital of Belgium—and
Sinem, living in vibrant Istanbul, a city where tradition meets creativity,
decided to channel their heritage and passion into something extraordinary. We
live in two different cities, two different rhythms—but always with the same
fire inside. Inspired by our roots and our father’s journey, we set out to
redefine leather craftsmanship with a modern, feminine perspective.
At KASA People, our name honors our grandparents—two
extraordinary individuals who embodied creativity, connection, and the courage
to be unapologetically themselves.
