As Demand & Supply Planner You will have overall ownership of stock management for the Stanley/Stella warehouse in France.
Your main responsibilities will include demand forecasting and purchasing for all products in the warehouse, balancing commercial, financial and production requirements.
JOBDESCRIPTION
- Sales forecasting at product level in collaboration with the sales and marketing as well as large customers.
- Deciding on order quantities from Asian suppliers (monthly). Working with the Asian sourcing office to ensure purchase orders are tracked from placement through to receipt in the UK warehouse.
- Executing transfers from the central EU warehouse to cover shortages
- Guiding suppliers on which raw materials to have in stock and in what quantities
- Regular follow up with suppliers (via the sourcing office) on urgent productions and delayed products
- Co-ordinating the inbound logistics flow to the warehouse
- Managing the monthly S&OP process for the France warehouse and capturing actions form the meeting
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in a technical background (e.g. supply chain, engineering, maths, computer sciences, etc.)
- Experience of min. 5 years in a similar or analytical role (e.g. Planning, Finance, Analyst)
- Advanced user of MS Excel
- Knowledge of SQL or Power BI is a plus
- Fluent in French and English; any other language is a plus
- Precise, detail oriented and are passionate about numbers
- Prior experience in a textile or consumer goods supply chain role is a plus
- Interest in the fashion sector is a plus
