De productie en consumptie van textielproducten blijft groeien en daarmee ook de impact ervan op het klimaat, het water- en energieverbruik en het milieu. In de EU is het verbruik van textiel, dat voor het grootste deel wordt ge\u00efmporteerd goed voor gemiddeld de op drie na grootste negatieve impact op het milieu en de klimaatverandering en de op twee na grootste voor water- en landgebruik vanuit een mondiaal levenscyclusperspectief.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/environment.ec.europa.eu\/document\/download\/74126c90-5cbf-46d0-ab6b-60878644b395_en?filename=COM_2022_141_1_EN_ACT_part1_v8.pdf&amp;prefLang=nl\">https:\/\/environment.ec.europa.eu\/document\/download\/74126c90-5cbf-46d0-ab6b-60878644b395_en?filename=COM_2022_141_1_EN_ACT_part1_v8.pdf&amp;prefLang=nl<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #b22222;\"><strong>De Europese Green Deal<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">De Europese Green Deal heeft als doel om Europa in 2050 het eerste klimaat neutrale continent te maken. PFHxA<\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #b22222;\"><strong>De EU-wetgeving begrijpen en het EU-wetgevingsproces<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Er zijn twee belangrijke concepten om te begrijpen hoe de EU wetgeving maakt: verordeningen (regulations) en richtlijnen (directives).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Een verordening is eigenlijk een algemene wet die voor alle EU-landen geldt. Het is een bindende wet die elk land moet naleven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Een richtlijn is een wet die een minimumnorm vastlegt voor de EU-lidstaten. Elke lidstaat moet binnen twee jaar zijn eigen wet- of regelgeving vaststellen om te voldoen aan de minimumvereisten van de richtlijn. Lidstaten kunnen er ook voor kiezen om verder te gaan dan de minimumvereisten in de richtlijn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-80448 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.creamoda.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/16-EU-Duurzaamheidsregels-intro-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"605\" height=\"346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.creamoda.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/16-EU-Duurzaamheidsregels-intro-3.jpg 605w, https:\/\/www.creamoda.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/16-EU-Duurzaamheidsregels-intro-3-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Het EU-wetgevingsproces omvat het voorstellen van wetgeving door de Europese Commissie, die vervolgens wordt beoordeeld en eventueel gewijzigd door het Europees Parlement en de Raad van de Europese Unie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Als beide organen het na een dialoogfase, die meerdere jaren kan duren, eens worden over de tekst, wordt de wetgeving aangenomen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Een verordening wordt direct bindend voor alle EU-lidstaten, zonder dat nationale omzetting nodig is, en treedt 20 dagen na goedkeuring in werking. Na de goedkeuring van een verordening kunnen gedelegeerde handelingen worden ontwikkeld. Gedelegeerde handelingen zijn secundaire wetten die niet-essenti\u00eble elementen van de oorspronkelijke wetgeving specificeren of wijzigen, waardoor aanpassingen of details (bijv. voor bepaalde industrie\u00ebn) kunnen worden toegevoegd zonder het volledige wetgevingsproces opnieuw te doorlopen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Zowel richtlijnen als verordeningen doorlopen het EU-wetgevingsproces waarbij de Europese Commissie, het Europees Parlement en de Raad van de Europese Unie betrokken zijn.
