SIZE ZERO WASTE

SIZE ZERO WASTE

Consumer engagement in a circular fashion industry

What is the aim of SIZE ZERO WASTE?

The aim of SIZE ZERO WASTE is to increase the chances of success of circular initiatives among Flemish SMEs in the clothing sector. This by converting insights into the perception and acceptance of sustainable and/or circular fashion among Flemish consumers into strategic communication and market approach advice.

Why SIZE ZERO WASTE?

Clearly, not every circular campaign will resonate equally well with your specific customer.
If consumers and their ‘willigness to pay or participate’ are not sufficiently taken into account, chances are that many circular initiatives will be put away again after disappointing results. To counter this, SIZE ZERO WASTE aims to strengthen Flemish fashion entrepreneurs in the development and implementation of their circular initiatives.

What is the plan of action?

Thomas More Research and Antwerp University have built up expertise in sustainable consumer behaviour, segmentation and communication preferences within sustainability, ROI calculations. They want to share and exchange this knowledge with Flemish fashion entrepreneurs through the SIZE ZERO WASTE project.
